The Rosler Apartment

The joinery of this developer-built ninth floor apartment in London’s SE1 was replaced and added to with new doors, wall linings and specially commissioned furniture. The dark painted boarding of the entrance hall frames the bedroom doors and disguises the utility cupboards. A pair of glazed doors which double as an exhibition cupboard lead to the double height living space dominated by a grid of library shelving that conceal the cupboard for the TV. A fully fitted dressing room was installed adjacent to the main bedroom and Incidental furniture included a desk, a console, bedside and dressing tables and a small coffee table, the black top of which is also a tray.
